What the score covers

Ten controls an auditor can test

The questions focus on the practical controls that decide whether a reporting figure can be defended, not just whether it was submitted.

30 points

Data

SKU coverage, source-to-figure traceability and supplier packaging specifications.

20 points

Evidence

Dated RAM support, recycled-content evidence and reconciliation to commercial records.

30 points

Controls

Reviewer approval, change logs, documented methodology and a reviewer-ready audit pack.

20 points

Scale

Multi-company reporting and custom validation rules that keep quality under control.

What to do with a low score

01 · Start with the weakest category

A low data score usually undermines everything after it. Fix the source record before polishing the presentation.

02 · Assign an owner

Give each priority action a named owner and a date. A gap without an owner is unlikely to close.

03 · Re-score after the fix

Re-run the assessment once the evidence is in place. The movement is a useful check that the fix is real.

FAQ

Audit readiness questions

What the score does and does not tell you.

What does the audit readiness score measure? +

It scores ten practical controls covering data coverage, source evidence, supplier records, RAM evidence, reconciliation, approvals, methodology, audit pack export, multi-company reporting and custom rules.

Is the score an audit opinion? +

No. It is a self-assessment to help prioritise work before an audit or regulator query. It does not replace independent assurance or regulator guidance.

How is the audit readiness score calculated? +

Each of the ten questions is scored from zero to ten across four categories: data, evidence, controls and scale. The total is a score out of 100.

Do I need to enter company data? +

No. The assessment does not ask for company, supplier or packaging data, and answers stay in your browser.

What should I do after getting my score? +

Start with the weakest category and the three priority actions. Then gather the source evidence behind the affected figures and assign an owner and deadline to each gap.
