Component identity
Material, format, component weights and the SKU mapping that connects the evidence to the products you report.
Check whether the evidence behind a packaging RAM rating is complete enough for a UK EPR reviewer. Work through the component, the rating and the documents you can produce today.
Complete the three steps and we will show a score, the gaps to close and what to fix first.

Priority gaps
The checklist tests evidence completeness, not the correctness of the rating. Your authorised reviewer remains responsible for approval and submission.
A reviewer will look for a traceable link between the packaging, the assessment, the recycled-content claim and the person who approved it.
Material, format, component weights and the SKU mapping that connects the evidence to the products you report.
The assessment behind the rating, the UK collection route, separation evidence for composite formats and dated test reports.
Supplier declarations, recycled-content verification, version control, reviewer approval and a clear audit trail.
01 · Fix the biggest gap
Start with the highest-weighted missing item. It usually changes the strength of the evidence set fastest.
02 · Trace to a document
Link every claim to a dated file, supplier or test report. A verbal confirmation is not audit evidence.
03 · Get a second pair of eyes
Ask a reviewer who did not create the assessment to test the trail before it goes into a submission.
Short answers to the questions we hear most often.
It compares the evidence you hold against a practical checklist for a packaging RAM rating, then highlights gaps and next steps. It is an evidence-completeness check, not a regulatory determination.
Yes. The checker runs in your browser, requires no account and does not send your answers to a server.
Typically material and component specifications, weight breakdowns, recyclability assessments or test reports, collection route evidence, recycled-content declarations, supplier sign-off and version control.
No. The checker tests whether the evidence set is complete, not whether the assessment is correct. Your authorised reviewer remains responsible for the rating, approvals and submission.
Yes. It uses the same material categories and evidence types as the RAM engine used in Remedy EPR, so a component checked here can be reconciled against an engine assessment. The checker scores whether the evidence is complete; the engine determines the Red, Amber or Green result.
No. Recycled content is captured for fee modulation and reporting. The RAM rating is assessed from the material, format, collection route and recyclability evidence.
The checklist is built for standard packaging. Medical-device packaging can follow a different reported-rating route, so ask us to reconcile those components individually.
Yes. Run it once per component, or use it as a template for a portfolio review.
